I’m looking for new music?
Can you help me find new music?
I like lots of different types of music, but here are some of my favorite artists right now:
The Airborne Toxic Event
Tom Waits
Peter Fox
System of a Down
Serj Tankian
Puscifer
A Perfect Circle
NIN
Regina Spektor
Tool
Rammstein
Antony and the Johnsons
Josh Ritter (the song the curse)
David Guetta
Audio Bullys
Gogol Bordello
Benny Benassi
Alison Krauss/Robert Plant together
Fedde le Grande
Wax Taylor
Lady Gaga
I like a lot of the songs on the annual Ministry of Sound CDs
I especially enjoy when classical or ethnic music is mixed with modern rock, rap, etc. Like Apocalyptica….or the music from Slumdog Millionaire for example.
Thanks!
If you love classical or ethnic music combined with modern music, you will probably love Sufjan Stevens. He is my favorite artist right now and I speak of him in the highest regard to anybody. I would start out with his album Illinois, much of it sounds like an Indie Folk-Rock band playing with a wind ensemble and string quartet.
