I’m afraid of what might happen..I don’t wanna get in too much trouble.?
Ok..so on Monday, in NYC, there is a CD signing for the Born This Way album, by Lady GaGa, at the Best Buy at Union Square. I live in PA and it’s about an hour train ride there and about 25 minutes to walk to the Best Buy from the train station. I am 19 and have the money to do this. I will be going to the Best Buy at, probably, 7 am, and I will buy the CD at 8 am. The first 450 people to buy the CD at 8am get a wristband and will get the CD autographed at 9PM. I was planning to wait around during the day (at like B&N) to see GaGa. My mom gave me a sort of attitude and everything about it when I tried to talk to her. I am not a bad kid, never smoked, did drugs, drank, went to parties, but if she has this big of a problem about me going, I think I’m just gonna go without her permission. I dunno what to do..any suggestions??
I’m a guy -_-’ and she has work…
She may be worried that you are going on the trip alone, I worry about my kids all the time and they are 20 and 22. Ask her to go with you and make it a girls day out, the day trip would be fun for you both, go explore NY while you’re waiting on the signing.
You are 19 and not a minor, you don’t technically need her permission to go, but respect her feelings and talk to her about why she has an issue with it, it may be something that can be worked out to make you happy and he worry free.
