House party theme ideas?

My friend is turning 16 and she is having a house party with around 30 people going.
We need a really interesting theme to do for every to come dressed in and decorations ect.
Any good ideas?
Something like Lady Gaga themed or Rubix Cube Theme.
Please no immature american teenage ideas please. like hair and make-up!

You could do a classic ads theme. Be advertising mascots. You & your friends could be Count 0Chocula, Captain Crunch, Lucky the Leprachaun (lucky charms), Aunt Jemima (pancakes, syrup,) ,Bazooka Joe(bubblegum), The Burger King, Chester the cheetah (Cheetos), Chef Boyardee, Chuck E. Cheese, Sonny the Cocoa Puff bird (“I’m coocoo for cocoa puffs!!”), Sailor Jack & Bingo (Cracker Jacks), Energizer Bunny ( Energizer batteries)… etc…
