Can you plug a memory stick from a camera, directly into a computer?
Kay, so i just went to a Lady Gaga Concert and wanna get the pics off my camera, its has a thing called
SanDisk Memory Stick Duo Adaptor, and you can pull and even smaller black piece out of that.
How do i use it? Do i need a cord for the camera?
You need a memory slot adapter for your computer, in which case you would just pull the memory chip from your camera and plug it into your ‘puter. Then you can open the chip like it was a removable disk. Drag’n'drop works just fine.
If your ‘puter doesn’t have that kind of adapter, you might have more of a problem. Cameras often have USB plug-in ability, but some have something called FireWire. Whatever you have, you need it both on the camera and on the ‘puter.
