Why are there Gay Pride Events?
Okay, I’m gay and I went to a Gay Pride last year and I felt really uncomfortable being there. Because the gays were all over each other’s bodies, wearing glitter, and just underwear in public. Like what the heck? I thought gays were trying to present themselves away from the stereotype? Right? Like I love Britney Spears, Madonna and Lady Gaga. People think I’m gay because I listen to them, even though I am they assumed I’m gay because I do.
I sometimes understand why straights hate us, maybe if they quit acting real dirty in public where there are children out there that see them, then maybe people would accept us and think of us as humans and not deviants. Right?
It’s people like Perez Hilton that give us gays a bad name. Not all gays are slutty or flamboyant like Perez. We’re not cocky or bitchy towards other.
My personal preferences is a gay guy that acts like a guy. Not a drag queen, or flamboyant a guy! Simple as that. Anybody get where I’m going with this?
Yeah, I’m with you.
First anyone that takes children to a Gay Pride parade is just dumb.
Secondly, the whole point is to be right in the community’s face and say, We’re here, boys and girls and we ain’t goin’ away!”
Also, I think it’s away for a lot of gay people to just get crazy and let it all hang out instead of secret bar rooms. Just my thoughts.
