Who sold more records in 2010: Eminem or Lady Gaga?
I’m confused. When the news first broke of who sold more albums in 2010, it was Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster”, which sold 5.8 million copies and that Em was behind her with 5.7 million. Now I’m seeing that Eminem sold the most with “Recovery” and that Gaga wasn’t even in the top three top-sellers, which I find virtually impossible seeing how much promotion and everything she did last year. So who exactly won? Can someone give me a REAL list? Thanks!
I think I’ve got it. Eminem sold the most in America, 3.4 million. Gaga sold the most worldwide, 5.8 million, while Eminem sold 5.7 worldwide. Thanks though!
yes, you’re correct! lady gaga sold the most worldwide in 2010 (with eminem second place by just 1 million units), while eminem had the best selling 2010 album in the usa with “recovery”. I think “the fame” (gaga’s debut album) was the 6th best selling album of 2010 in the usa, so that’s why she wasn’t in the top 3.
